The Growth Diagnostic: How to Audit Your Marketing in 5 Days

A growth diagnostic is not a strategy document. It's not a brand audit. And it's not a 40-slide presentation about your market opportunity. It's a ranked list of findings — each tied to a metric, an opportunity, and an estimated effort — that tells you exactly what to do in the next 90 days.

Day One: Data Access and Baseline

We request access to GA4, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Search Console, and any CRM or email platform. Day one is spent establishing baselines across five areas: acquisition, conversion, retention, infrastructure, and competitive position.

Days Two and Three: Deep Dive

The deep dive focuses on finding the leaks — the specific places where value is being lost. High-traffic pages with low conversion rates. Campaigns spending significant budget with no conversion tracking. Channels with strong top-of-funnel metrics but poor quality leads.

In every diagnostic we run, we find at least one finding the client was completely unaware of — and that finding, alone, typically justifies the entire engagement.

Day Four: Operator Interviews

Data tells you what happened. Operators tell you why. We interview the sales team, the customer service lead, and a sample of recent customers. These conversations surface the intelligence that no dashboard can show: what objections prospects raise most often, which customers refer others and why.

Day Five: Ranked Recommendations

The diagnostic document has one job: give you a ranked list of actions, sorted by impact and effort, that you can start executing on Monday. Every finding gets a severity rating, a metric it affects, an estimated effort to fix, and a number it's expected to move.

The diagnostic doesn't end with a presentation. It ends with a decision. What are you doing first, who owns it, and what does success look like in 90 days?
